MichaelMCGOWANMcGOWAN - MICHAEL , 5th January 2021. Formerly of Southport, passed away peacefully aged 89 in Southport District General Hospital after a short illness. He leaves behind his brother Andrew and a host of nephews and nieces. A former English teacher, Michael was a man of many interests including languages, literature, classical music, fine dining, travel, gardening, and golf. He taught us much, brought his charm and wit to many a family event, and will be greatly missed. A Funeral service will be held at Southport Crematorium on the 26th January at 3pm.
